Definitely not.
Always great to get out of the house and I think that Leeds do a great job of staging it.
Also, very good for both clubs and always an excellent attendance.

Cant think of any downside (unless Leeds United are playing at home and then traffic is a mare coming home.

Never.

Have missed very few over the years right back to the televised league fixtures during winter rugby.

Fair comment, I agree it's good to get out of the house on Boxing Day and kills a few hours but it just seems to be consistently a very slow, relaxed game.

Fingers crossed this year will be different.

Just not as competitive, like I said before it's just very relaxed and a little slow.

I like the game on boxing day and as MC has alluded to in the past, with the income generated by the gate there are plenty of other clubs that would jump in our shoes given the chance to play Leeds and Headingly on Boxing day. I agree it is a bit slow paced, I have noticed this more so over the past few years but it is just nice to see a bit of rugby to be honest, both sides always seem to put out quite a few first teamers for this one as well.

The Boxing Day local derby league game throw to the days of winter Rugby League and the Headingley undersoil heating televised on BBC and commentated on by the very unique Eddie Waring. Now a very early start to Summer SL Rugby League

It is a game of Rugby League Wakefield Trinity are playing, what's not to like?

If your bored suggest an alternative, you may have a good idea but please don't just whine that your bored

Let's not butter it up to be something it's not, it's a friendly that in the last 10 years we've only beaten them twice. The pace is very slow and the quality isn't always there.

Whilst it might benefit the club (slightly) I don't think from a Wakefield Trinity fan perspective it's all that.

I'd suggest not telling someone what to do on an forum as that defeats the purpose of me initially posting.
