Wigan targeted him all night when he had the ball, with Leuluai and Isa relentless in getting stuck in to him and he finally snapped. We have a guy in Partington who is getting under people’s skins and he’s got a great knack of staying on the right side of it all and letting the opposition implode.

Some of the worst tactics I have seen in recent years from Cas.

Wigan too in the first half getting sucked into it.

Cas are a better rugby side than I saw tonight.

They should have focussed on rugby but were too busy trying to be grubs in the tackle and slow the game down.

Poor display all round.

Cas came to spoil in that first half and it was so scrappy. The ref should’ve pinged them in the first tackle of the game but didn’t and it built from there. I’m not sure why they’d come with those tactics as Wigan have proved time and again that they can outlast teams in these close end of season games.

It’s not surprising, I’m not sure I’ve seen a coach look like he hates a team just as much as Powell seems to despise Wigan.

His players didn’t take the ‘don’t let them get under our skin’ warning.

He’s going to be great value to watch over these next few years. He’s like a forward version of Jake Connor but he’s even better at letting the opposition get themselves in to trouble and unlike Connor his teammates look to love him.

He has to be the most unlikeable bloke in SL.

He's proved he can coach well, but he's so churlish. Put him on the wrong end of a scoreline, and he's got a face like a smacked a**e.
