Not sure, i know it is something they can do, but they don't spend a huge amount on the OB kit for RL.

The OB wagons are all able to do the same stuff..... Its the outsourced cost kf the riggers and drivers that costs them more. A rigger can earn £500 for set up/take down, £200 more if they are working with a cameraman during the game and another £400 if the also drive the wagon.....£1,100 for a days work.... Nice work if you can get it!

No but there's never really been this kind of final day decision maker where dependant on the results any obe of 3 could go down.

They have done it in football when thins like tjis have transpired and they have chosen a relegation battle game over Wigan v saints this year so you never know.

Less than a weeks warning that the Wigan Cas game will be on Thursday. I expect a bumper crowd to showcase the sport.

I take the riggers as part of the OB cost, it sounds a lot of money but they do long days and it isn' 5 days a week 46 weeks of the year. Most are self employed so pay Corporation Tax, Insurances etc. But that is a different conversation for The Sin Bin in the off season!

Didn't sky once show other games on a Friday by pressing red button no commentary think it only happened once

Sky announced they were showing ALL Championship play-off games, except Toulouse v York that is.....

Yeah I know thanks, just typical of Sky though. They did it 6 or 7 years ago with the Challenge Cup, but opted out of showing Leigh v Leeds.
