Just been reading his column in today’s LE. He says no team deserves to be relegated this year apart from Leeds. If this was to happen, then it should be decided now,and not wait until it becomes certain with team will finish bottom.

great idea relegate Leeds now and then expand the league to 14 next year sounds good to me

I remember for years Jamie Peacock said super league needed reducing to 10 teams in order to compete with the Aussies. Bet he's changed his tune now Leeds are under threat.

I think they'll wait & see if Wakey are going to finish bottom & then make a decision on relegation

When he made that statement, I think it was more to do with sharing the Sky money between fewer SL clubs, soon changed his mind when HKR faced relegation.

Currently Toronto receive no sky money
If this is the case going forward I’d be happy to see them promoted and SL and go to 13 teams with each club getting a buy but play everyone twice and get rid of the redic loop fixtures

If Toronto didn’t get any sky money surely that keeps everyone happy in the existing sl structure

Not sure on the logistics, but could it be factored so that the teams bye would be the weekend after their trip to Toronto? Can you imagine playing Saints on a Thursday after being in Toronto?!? Unfortunately, where the RFL/SL are concerned, I can!
