Not sure where we start getting wins from. Next week's game from London is pretty much now a bottom of the table clash. Lose and they are only 2 points behind us.
Have we been punching above our weight for a few year and should this be our standard???
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

Don't be daft. Castleford have been a top 4 side for a few years now and you've just had a few tough games v Saints and Hull, whilst Salford are on a bit of a roll at the moment. Next for you is London, Leeds and Wakefield......if you lose those 3 then worry, but I can't see anything other than a minimum of 4 points there......and probably 6.

Come and watch us play at the moment, you might change your mind then. We are woeful. No spark, no pace, no line speed, no desire to work for each other, goal line defence non existent - I could go on. Losing I can handle if they have a dig, no problem. In the past seeing us get hammered week in week out at least we tried to entertain. Lose by 50? No probs, lets have a party! But we’ve turned into the most boring, pedestrian side in the league. Boring rugby is fine if it means results, but we are playing boring and losing. I honestly don’t know where our next win is coming from.

That sounds like a perfect synopsis of Wakey's situation, the quite imminent match up should be intriguing.
Well done to Salford b.t.w. they're going about their business & picking up some good wins.

Have you still got an injury crisis or are some players back now?

We’ve had enough quality on the park the last few weeks, injuries aren’t an excuse. The players aren’t performing, simple as. It’s like watching paint dry in attack and like watching a comedy show in defence! Seriously, they are literally tripping over each other defending on the line. Like a Benny Hill sketch! They also need to get down to the junior training sessions at Lock Lane to learn how to pass and catch with the under 10’s. Something not right somewhere. Oh well, at least our women’s team are playing attractive rugby. I look forward to watching them more than the first team at the moment. Good job there’s no middle 8’s this year. And Powell said the other day we can still win the GF!!
Cas are a very overrated side. They’re a team with largely bang average players and have been punching above their weight for a few years due to a great coach and other sides underperforming. There will come a point were their refusal to sign any big name players will cost them and I fancy that could happen this season. I am surprised by the amount of people who have put Cas in their top 3 on social media. Mata’utia as an outside bet for MOS is a ridiculous prediction as well.
That was what I said before the season and I think it’s fairly accurate. Apart from Watts and one or two others Cas have a squad full of mid table players and that’s where they’ll finish.

I’d love to be able to argue with you, but I haven’t got an argument at the moment
