So what makes us so special that we can't be dragged down into a relegation battle? At the start of the season we mostly agreed that we had the best squad for ages and after a terrible start at London (regular graveyard for us)started to climb the table to, i think 3rd,with Broughy and Kopy being generally thought of as good recruits,then bang, injuries started.During over 50 yrs of watching i've never seen a season that gets anywhere near close to the injury situation that we are encountering and nearly all long term.Sure,that's why you have a strong squad, but with so many back-up players coming in,it's inevitable the team will be weakened and it's no wonder the form and confidence falls off eventually; even the stand in's such as Arundel and Jowett have suffered bad injuries.It's obvious how bad things are when some players are coming back before fully fit to make up the numbers.We need to keep getting behind the lads and hopefully things will improve when we get some fit bodies back.

looks like we can all go to div 1 next year if this keeps up - where is our next win coming from,i think we need 2 to stay up

Agree with this Kirmond coming off totally screws our rotation up. Someone had a go at Pauli but he’s an impact player but ended up doing 60 plus in one stint which is not the way you play him. Kirmond getting injured in games consistently has a massive knock on effect for the team. He’s been a fantastic servant to club but the team and club come first.

I’m sick to death of this he’s done big minutes or not had a rest or he’s fatigued after 10 mins, Chester should be saying dig deep run your balls off for the full game we’re struggling and need you it’s a culture that needs changing, the game lasts 80 mins and far too often players and not just ours are looking to come off after the 20 minute stint it’s pathetic. Get them fitter or the players need to sort themselves out
