I have to agree with you on that.

Further above, Charlie I won’t be there unfortunately and I hope your tipping is up to its usual standard.

Alan, I can see that Derek would want his own trophy on his own sideboard but it’s still all pants to me, and I’m sure to you as well.

I’d rather have a semi-final in a real comp than a final in a side show.

Very true Norman.

However, believe it or not, I'm still in a happy state that we actually have a team this season!

Fair dues mate, I totally understand that position.

The reality is that the Championship is a side-show.

I guess everything other than SL is a sideshow, just look at the crowds last weekend, I do think that our game being the only local match up helped but still poor crowds all round.

The big clubs are only interested in the CC Final, other rounds no one cares and even the final has lot the glamour it had being effectively mid-season.

Hopefully somebody out there saw our match and thinks that showing the Championship games may be worth a punt and take it off Sky. Channel 4 moving to Leeds may be the catalyst, finger crossed.

Can anybody confirm if there was a programme issued for this game? I was out of the country and thus unable to attend!
