Cannot believe some of the posts on here. Sometimes teams like anyone else have a bad day at the office yesterday was one. I travelled down and was disappointed but in a two team game one has to lose and in the past we have lost plenty. Get up for next week now

For those that have watched Trinity for a long time, we are used to getting beaten and in itself, defeats are part and parcel of all sport.
However, Trinity are (in theory) a top 6 club and London, were rock bottom, with just 3 wins this season (4 after yesterday).
Defeats, when your side has left everything on the field are easy to deal with but, without wanting to take anything away from London, who clearly know how to beat us, to lose because of poor attitude and turning up soft is just not on.
After the opening day debacle, I said that the loss would cost us at the end of the season and now we've multiplied that x 2.

I agree that we all can have a bad day at the office but, having had such a poor experience against them for the season opener, this is unforgivable, really unforgivable.

You have to think that for whatever reason, the preparation and travel to this fixture wasn't right and we failed to learn anything from the earlier loss.

Changing the halves, who were just finding some understanding and dropping Jowitt, plus, the Sau / Pauli exchange dont seem to have helped.
But, this appears to be attitude, rather than ability, something which is down to the coach and his staff.
Having said that, the coaching staff dont drop passes and concede penalties or miss tackles. :DEPRESSED:

I agree with a lot of what you say, but you can't seriously say Miller shouldn't have come back?! If he was 'medically' fit to play, then he was always going to come back, as will Broughy when he is fit, they are our first choice halves. Max has been a bit unlucky, but Hampshire was playing better at full back for me, and that was CC'S preferred choice before the halves got injured. The last time we played well was probably the Wigan game, when ironically or not the halves got injured?!

I also would blame the coaching staff to a degree, Ward seems to have out coached if you like Chester somewhat, and they are no mugs clearly, but the players must shoulder most of the blame, because that opening day defeat must have been still fresh in their minds, yet they probably played worse yesterday! They can't have much pride in their performance if they didn't want to rectify the wrongs in round 1?? I actually think it's good we have Catalans up next, that was almost like a final for them, lots of emotions etc, and i'm hoping they are a bit drained, and it's kind of after the Lord mayor's show etc.... :?

Having got up at 3 am flown back from Italy , rented a car and sat waiting 4 hours for the game to start absolutely gutted, left with ten minutes to go and has the 3.5 hour drive home.

Thought team selection was good enough, and was looking forward to the win. Left hand side was like a turnstyle in first twenty. First half we probably completed twenty percent of our sets , miller looked like he needed a game and couldn’t have tackled my granny, missed touch kicks , dropped balls on first tackle.

Thought London played a simple game and did it well.

Sure as hell won’t be going to magic

I picked this weekend as trip away in place of Liverpool. Probably still the best choice with the upcoming shafting Catalans are going to give our pussies.

Great effort form you there, absolutely commendable.
Pity the players didn't have the same commitment.

We all know that Catalan blow hot and cold and lets hope they are due a "cold" week next week.

Well I've slept on it. Still annoyed at the team. Credit to London they played to their strengths and beat us again. We had no enthusiasm, they had it in spades. Our tackling in the first 60 was amateur to say the least. Glad we won't be travelling down next year as I would be giving it a miss after 2 visits this year.
on what basis do you make that they are far from down and out, had they not let in 22 in the last 15 mins they could of been off the bottom on points difference, KR and rhinos fans should start to worry as its not a written thing that they will go down
too many of us thought it was going to be easy points and embarrassingly we've proved its not the case I for one would like them to stop up

Tbh I could see London beating Leeds , still have us to play again so it’s by no means certain that London are getting relegated .

Hard luck Max on not getting onto 17 this time. You've done a great stint though. But it's a squad game. Good luck to the team this afternoon.

A SQUAD GAME! with 4 points we should of got in London is going to cost us any hope of a top 5 position.

Max should straight our leave he isn't getting the opportunity at this club he deserves - how Reynolds is even in the same conversation as him is embarrassing

Looks like that's the top 5 and semi final out of window. Another season of mediocre season

no us is and always will be a good season if we don't get relegated.

its just us fans who dared to dreamed when we got close to the semis last couple of years .

but realistically that was down to the big clubs have injuries to be fair and us having none

I've happily watched the team lose for many years knowing that at least the team who took to the field gave their all... That's not happening, beaten in every single metric and beaten in effort again

I just don't understand how we don't put effort in.

god knows how but this squad was third in the table! and 3 winnable games coming up to put his in 3rd on our own with daylight from 6th...

this squad had the chance to make the semi finals for the first time for the club in a long long time - how can there be no effort?
