I think he’s a superb player and we did right in standing by him. It does look like it will pay dividends for us.
Talk of England/GB is premature IMO as Ratchford would and should be first in line and rightly so at this given time (I didn’t consider Widdop as he’s long term injured), but there is plenty of time for Zak to stake his place in the GB squad.
Yes that one. Just because Zak ran round him on this occasion for the try doesn't make a difference. Sam offers way more in attack and links into the line better.
But you're right, I don't like Zak and didnt want him at the club tom begin with.
Zac is a very talented player and will show up Tomkins for what he is now a run down has been, if you want to see a player who could run around players view offiah's ten try sensation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPdkL8w_Qog

I don't personally have an issue with ZH or his past, I'm just not a massive fan of what I'd call a 'defensive' FB. For me I prefer my FB to be a little more slick with the hands and boot. ZH has a world-class running game and he's great defensively too, but he's not a 3rd pivot. Sam might not be as good defensively, but he was more than adequate and delivered championships in attack.
Also makes me laugh how bitter/fickle some of our fans are. Any player that dares to leave is lambasted and their past achievements are wiped from the history books. Look no further than Sam or Edwards (our most decorated ever player). It's a career and players/coaches have to make their money whilst they can. Neither of the two guys I've mentioned owe Wigan anything.

No third pivot, I guess you never watched him in a Cas shirt? He was under Powell.

IMO Hardaker has never been as good as Tomkins was from 2010-2013. Right now its pretty close between the two. Tomkins better going forwards. Hardaker better in defence.
