Yes and the final score was something like 34 - 10 Hull, I was following it on Twitter.

Im struggling to understand the Rationale of this decision were we short of Players ?
Of what conceivable benefit is it to the development of OUR Team & Club

I think the score at Hull was closer to, Hull 48 Fax 10. We had three Castleford players in our ranks, WHY?????
So, now we are being used to get other team players fit for their home team, what a damned shambles. Our coach talks on Sky about the legacy that is being built at Fax. If our coach has sanctioned this, he should hang his head in shame and walk away.
I don't think anything will be done to deny or corroborate the facts.
I think people are scared of speaking up about the garbage going on at our club.

Kick in the teeth for OUR sterling volunteers too giving there time to fund this nonsense.See Mahar didn't make the 17 again last night despite being pulled again last week.Hope this pathetic tie-up disapperas soon with Marshall.Least we learnt something from Cas last night-how to completly ####-up a last play set...

agree, should not be using any DR in our second team while they cannot bother running one of their own.

The club is a joke right now Mal sadly as you know. Rudderless and clueless.

Same can be said about Marshall, the guy has absolutely no clue and is taking the club backwards at an alarming rate of knots....Hes in way over his head as a Head Coach. Not been a fan for a long long time. Playing Cas players in the reserves is a total and utter disgrace but shows sadly the amateurish nature in which the club is currently ran... Change needs to happen quickly across the club, starting with a new Coach. Sadly that nor fresh investment via a new BOD is likely to happen....

As someone who is a big advocate of reserves (and has heaped praise on fax for running one) I found this disappointing. As another poster said, if Cas can't be bothered to fund one why should they get the benefit of using fax to get some of fringe players some match fitness.

If fax say they don't have enough players that's rubbish. Draft some in from an amateur team. Siddal are one of the best amateur clubs in the country. They'll have one or two gems who've just not been picked up by someone and maybe fax given them a run out could unearth a star.

Thatto Heath beat North Wales Crusaders today in Cup. The amateur setup is a good standard and they'll be plenty of players who could be unearthed given chance.
