It's a contact sport, people will take awkward blows. Headbutts are assault though and should be treated as such.

I agree, however a previous post who prompted my post, seems to think the rfl are at fault.

We should get an apology from the refs boss for being penalised and reduced to 12 men for a totally legal act.

It was you who compared it to your lads having knocks to their faces. These things happen and we correctly got pinged for a couple of them but sadly the real horror show was the Isa decision. Wire got rewarded for Toby King play acting and Dec Patton blowing a non event up in to an all in scrap.

Sad to see this football style antics creeping in at some clubs.

I’m sure Austin has thrown enough cheap shots out in his time at Wire so far to expect a few in return. No complaints from him that I saw and he’s probably used to it. Missing the odd thing from a refs POV is understandable but penalising players and giving them ten minutes for perfectly legal piece of player isn’t.

Anyway the better side won and we move on.

Flogging a dead horse with this lot. We saw it but our noisy neighbours are blaming the rfl, the demise of RL, Thyler ...anyone but what happened.

Blaming them for what? As I said the better side won but we can all see what we want to. Never a penalty in a million years for me but it matters little.
