A better performance in terrible conditions today with a lot of commitment and effort across the park from 1 to 17.

This is probably the best Dewsbury side since we were relegated. To win and nil them is a great result. Next week is a massive one for us now, win-able, but they wil think the same.

By far our best performance of the season by quite some distance. Hopefully we can kick on from this. To top it off a minority of Town fans are in full blown meltdown because we had the audacity to play a game on a pitch that was playable.

Great platform set by the forwards - and the backs working well behind a team rolling forward. The pitch is a mess because it has no grass on it and no drainage - nothing to do with the rugby club imo.

All the Town fans talk about is how we should have consideration for our co-tenants yet the Town fan groundstaff are allowed to cut the grass so short which can only be to cater to the football team and is one of the main reasons the pitch was in the state is was before a rugby game was even played on it. I will add that it is only a very small minority of Town fans having a go and although not ideal others can see why our game went ahead without problems yesterday.
