Might be of interest to some on here that I’ve just completed a major update to the memorabilia section of my website, having finally got around to archiving my own pre-war Wire programme collection. This now has over 1,100 images of over 350 pre-war Wire programmes, including 312 complete versions. Is that Gerry Helme second from left with Bevan in the middle background ? !954 Challenge cup win over Fax at Odsal.

That's not the Challenge Cup. Could it be the Championship trophy, Wardonia Cup or maybe the Lancashire Cup?

Thats the Lancashire Cup which we won during the 1959-60 season. Jackie Edwards was the scrum half.

Yes I agree. Lancashire Cup. I had to look again as I only remember seeing it close up with the base under it.

That’s correct the Lancashire Cup win over St Helens in ‘59
