Anyone heard the latest rumour of David Fifita joining Leeds with brother Andrew following him on a 1 year deal?

Doubt it, we’ve only probably just freed up enough cap space to sign one prop with recent departures, no chance we’ve got enough room for 2 with one being an NRL and international prop.

They could not afford Andrew. And David is just a rumour. Of course they would want him, he's very good, but Wakefield will want to keep him and Leeds are no more likely to win anything this year than Wakefield.

Rumour I heard was that David was desperate to join Wigan when his contract ends but Wigan management said no because he’s not the kind of prop they can afford given the current rules.

Wigan at the moment seems well equipped with props in the form of Clubb, Flower, Bullock and Navarette -- all quality players.

Wigan desperately needs quality halves and to move Tommy Leuluai to hooker.

Perhaps you should check Fifita's stats v Saints, before jumping to conclusions about "the kind of prop" he is?
