The RFL could have done a lot worse than patenting "super league" . Every sport seems to have cashed in our description recently.

That’s an average of £1.65m a year for each club. Some of the bigger clubs will get more, some in Lg2 a lot less.

On an individual club basis it’s not that good a deal at all really.

Not good at all when you consider Premier League clubs are getting at least £95 million, and then up to £150 million for the clubs that are on TV more often.
