I just don't like top see young rugby league players have their lives destroyed. So while I am all for a fair trial and justice to be served, I will be sad if Jarryd Hayne is found guilty.
If he is proven to be guilty then he will have been responsible for what happens next.

JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
A Clever linguist he may be, but no less of an "agent provocateur"......as the "T" word in describing him is most certainly "verbaten". His posts in this thread are borderline defending Hayne regardless by alluding hayne is being targeted and as such his posts are provocative.

Rubbish. I have written before that I do not prejudge these cases, and that I want to see justice done. I have also written that I would be sad if Hayne was found guilty. My reason for being sad at that outcome is because that would mean that a very talented rugby league player had destroyed his career, and, I will add, as well had brought great harm to an innocent person.
I don't want to prejudge these cases. I agree that having two cases against you doesn't look good for a player even if exonerated in both instances. But if exonerated he is entitled to work, and so long as his future rugby league contract specified nullification of said contract should he be found guilty of any crime more serious than a misdemeanour, he would add great value to any rugby league club in the UK that was willing to pay for his services.
If exonerated, Jarryd Hayne would be entitled to be considered a more exemplary citizen than Zachary Hardaker, who we all know has a playing contract with Wigan. I do hope that Jarryd Hayne will be exonerated for anything more serious than excessively biting a woman while engaged in consensual sex. However, obviously I am in no position to know the outcome of either of his upcoming trials.
So, excessive biting of a woman is Ok with you? Not serious? Wow.
