To be fair I work with someone who knows DB away from Rugby (In fact he knew him before he got involved with Leigh) and on this occasion, the Frenchmen (sic) is right. He is a larger than life character who likes to show off how rich he is.

A car with a design like the Lamborghini is going to attract attention whatever colour it is. The choice of bright orange is just way over the top and is in effect demanding mega attention.
Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

Avignon for Championship in 2021, Super League in 2022!

If I had the cash or the profile I would not be playing stupid petulant games with the police. In addition I would not be driving a bright orange Lamborghini.

Moreover I would be bankrolling Toulouse and making them a powerful permanent presence in Super League. That would be doing great good for the game.

Got a strange PM the other day from Sir Kevin, pronouncing he was walking away from these forums.....now that was a goon news RL story 8)
JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

It always used to make me laugh when on the news it had something about Mario Balotelli when he was at Man City , it showed his car , but blocked out the number plate

Seriously how many Bentleys are there driving round Manchester ( because he wouldn't drive anywhere else ) covered in ' camouflage ' paint jobs ?

If the camouflage paint job is good, would you see one :D :D :D
