Its a genuine shame that issues around whether he should have retired earlier are even part of this conversation, but that's what happens when players stay on too long. Carl Ablett take note.
We haven't signed the decent 2nd rower we're crying out for, nor do we look like doing so. If it's a choice between jjb going round again or signing someone average for two or 3 years then my preference is the former. And if, by some miracle, he goes out with another medal or ring, would anyone really begrudge him it?

What a great servant to the club and he has done the right thing by giving the club notice. Hope he goes out off the back of a better season than last.
I think many agree the timing is too late. What i will say though Jjb rightly takes his place amongst previous "Legends" like Sinfield Peacock Mags & Burrow. Thanks Jjb.
