Hudds shay yes do think a wake up call is due. 2 cracking signings but the management of the good news can only be described as a lack lustre dogs dinner. It's like they have been caught by surprise on something they are entirely in control of . That said the 2 signings suddenly put a differing positive prospective on the coming season. I can't help but think LS28 ought to be embedded in the new bod and get them up to speed on promotion of the club golden opportunity to push ticket sales today missed by a country mile .

Ben White is a very good player and stood out at Swinton with the likes of Robinson and Liam Marshall when he dual reg'd from Wigan. IIRC he might have also played hooker. Shame we don't still have Ben Black, it would have been grrrreat having Ben Black and Ben White in the halves, eh? The problem was it was meant to be the big announcement at the end of season do but obviously got leaked pretty much leaving them with little choice although I agree more could have been made of it.

not many negative comments now I think. fans wanted half back, back with speed and fullback. got all 3 so far. pity announced in press before fax could release the signing themselves in the way wanted.

Around how it was announced. It was leaked. What do people want. I'm guessing the BOD would have loved to have made a bigger thing out of the QLT signing.

But let's not also forget Robinson, kavanagh and white, all top signings.

The squad Has been improved with the signings.

Tangata has gone was good and seemed to be good around the team but through injury not played much. At his best quality.

Guess that what SL teams had seen, hence why at Widnes.

Excellent signings, but if we assume QLT has actually signed on the dotted line then Fax should have been ready to promote the deal as the ink was drying. It's been reported that QLT's agent leaked the news, might be right, might be wrong, but any which way Fax should really be doing better at sparking some enthusiasm for next season.

Tbh, the early bird offers on season tickets are probably around the mark that full price should be (from what I can see you can only miss one game before it becomes more expensive than buying individual tickets for each game).

Mini-season tickets (3 or 4 games), family tickets (2 adults and as many kids as you want), group tickets (one game, for 4, 6, 8 etc. attendees), we should be trying to flog them all (at a decent but sensible discount pre-season). The news item advertising season tickets seems to have far more focus around terms and conditions, forfeiture, paying full price, void, charges etc. than actually selling the product!

I’ve been critical of the BOD in the past, but I think the signings are a big positive and they have done well. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t say yes to a couple more...if the money is there.

On the PR front they have to convince people who don’t buy season tickets and those that don’t go to games to spend money upfront. This is a tough ask but as others have said good momentum will help get some of the first group to part with cash.

To get old, casual, and new fans to part with cash upfront is a challenge no club has cracked yet. Our aim must be to get them through gates game by game, and that means on the field success and quality of performance.
