No one coming down, Bradford and York gone. If we have the aspirations that have been presented and I have to believe that we do, we will never have a better opportunity.

There are signings needed to strengthen a decent squad. I hope this opportunity is not passed up.

I don't have any worries about next season, barring a lot of injuries.
We only lost two games after Matty Beharrel joined and those to two good sides.
So as much as I am not totally convinced that Horne brought enough to the table originally, he has shown he knows what he is doing and has an eye for a good player.
So I am happy enough there ... except for one glaring deficiency in the side which I won't go into.

The base is there, I do feel we will be heavily Hull dependent again though.

If any of the sides in the division go bananas and try to buy promotion, then I would like to think we would respond.

Gotta do it next season, simply got too.

Agree with the above, as it stands its us Worky and Newcastle (they appear to be spending).

Whoops forgot Oldham. Unless there is a dark horse its the those four IMO

Have to agree. Looking at a 3 horse race right now. A couple more of last year's squad and 4 or 5 experienced signings and I'm confident. Brandon Douglas seems a good start. That's the type of player we need. Young but with a solid background at a higher level. That said, a real mongrel of a prop wouldn't go amiss.

There was a rumour yesterday that the main money man at Workington was looking at walking away if they didn't get promotion.

Interestingly Leon Price has confirmed he will be there next year ,but more than a few Worky fans voiced concerns.

Newcastle look to be splashing the cash ,so it will be interesting to see who we bring in.
