He's got a decent boot on him, but I don't think he would improve us. I remember him getting sat on his backside after a TJ side step a couple of years back.

To be fair, TJ has left several defenders on their backsides over the past few years.

Wouldn't really class him though as championship standard like some have. He made his debut in around 2011, and has played in super league up until only earlier this year, and to a reasonable standard.

Could he have just been sold off by Salford to ease their cash flow problems when Marwan left, and Toronto came in with a bigger offer than anyone else.

He wouldn't improve us one iota - and to suggest that it's worth talking about because of "all the negativity" about our fb's is just daft; the only negativity has been from a few people on here.

Last year we missed the play offs by a drop goal in the Hull match
He would have kicked that drop goal, he is exceptional under pressure

Had we not missed that drop goal would have made the play offs

This year we lost marginally multiple times
He would have made the difference

Not too sure how you can rubbish O'Brien* he has been highly regarded since he came through at Wire and I can see why, I think he is a good super league player and would improve us a lot in our current set up from next season. Toronto went on record at the time of signing him saying they had beaten 9 Super league clubs to his signature, probably through just the money they offered Salford and the player, so that is 9 super league coaches that apparently were jumping at the chance of signing a championship standard player?

On the back of this is anyone hearing the same rumours surrounding Grix not been with the club next season? I heard it a few months ago and thought nothing of it, but the rumour just wont go away.
