If so, it’s a fair call.

We haven’t eased up all season and it does give Lovett and Patton a chance to stake a claim should Brown or Roberts get injured for the playoffs.

Expecting a bartering but then I also remember Livett and Patton against Saints in 2017. However, we don’t have the advantage of Cunningham doing the half time team talk this year, unless Wigan have employed him for motivational purposes.

Meh, doesn't really matter what the result or score is, it will only matter should we meet the Pies during October. Therefore, rest anyone who is carrying a knock, and even some that aren't.

Pretty clear from Price that he needs convincing about Patton.

"I’m happy to give Declan and Harvey an opportunity in the halves. It is a chance for them to show their worth in that role. "They have both played there plenty of times over the years so it is nothing new to them."


He would not say that if he considered Patton as a starting half-back.

I have no "agenda" just don't think he (Patton) has all the attributes needed to be a SL winning halfback.

The comment from Price seems to indicate he wants him (Patton) to show his worth in that position.


Why do posters seem to think others have 'agendas'. Was it an agenda to attempt to subvert the natural progress of Rhys Evans? or was it just that he was not good enough...

That's how I read it and if he is needing to be convinced that would imply he is currently not convinced.

If it wasn't your agenda against Patton..
Then why is it when SP gives two new faces a runout at 6/7...it's wholly Patton that he is unconvinced about?
