In 2017 we scored 13 tries less than Leeds who were 2nd in the tries table, so our attack can't have been all that bad?
Even this year, despite missing key players, we're only around 1 try a game less than Warrington in 2nd place.

Have I missed Wigan and Cas being docked points?

How you think Shaul would go in a Castleford team wigan etc? genuine question?

I'd say -Yes.... he would improve...

Castleford/Wigan have support staff that can upskill players, we dont...

Richard Horne is being earmarked to return to be attack coach, but during his previous tenure as skills coach,we didnt see any noticeable difference, in support play, dummy runners, speedier accurate passing etc etc..

For mine, we need an external appointment...

I remember Jamie Shaul stating on a post match interview on Sky, that during training, most of his passes go over the fence....

For mine, its not just Shaul, our teamwork, ball in hand needs massive improvement, 15 metres from the opposition try line, we look like a rabbit caught in a headlight... its either a Sneyd speculative kick, or give it to Albert...

If we could reduce our unenforced errors ball in hand, this would reduce the defensive load on the team, therefore we would have more stamina during the game..and probably the season..

A previous post alluded to, we scored in top 3 tries in 2017. How many came from a Sneyd speculator??

AP might change the playing personnel, but unless the staff personnel is changed, I cant see any improvement in our attack as a team- anytime soon...

HDM reporting a highly “inspiring “ list of targets !
Only Gelling of any note . It looks like we are circling around Widnes to pick at the remaining carcass!!

If that list of targets is accurate then we may as well give up now.

I cant see how any of those will turn us back into contenders, so im hoping these are way of the mark.

I don't know what Joe Burgess's position is at Wigan because he doesn't seem to play all the time but id like us to go out and pay a transfer fee for him or Tom Johnstone and get some real pace on the wing.

Get rid of Talanoa and Paea and use their quota spots for two NRL quality forwards.

Unless we're talking these types of changes it makes Adam Pearsons recent interview look very hot-headed and reactionary.

You make it sound so easy to sign players. What makes you think that Burgess would want to leave Wigan or Johnstone Wakey? Even if they do for some reason why would they want to sign for FC? They would both probably not see the move as advancing their careers.

I'm not saying its easy, what I am saying is that unless we're looking at this calibre of player then Pearson shouldn't be making bold statements about signing new first team players to replace what we already have.

Don't think they'd want to come either. Justin probably going back home for family reasons and Robbie likes winning the odd match.
