Can't say I'm too disappointed, I wonder whether we've signed Austin instead, or whether we wanted to bring both in. Hopefully we will be able to utilise both marquee spots in 2019.

That thought £400,000 looks a bit picked out of the sky to me. I'd recon it's nearer the 3 than 4.
Anyways wouldn't want him now after feckin us about again.
Would Leicester give him a contract similar to Wasps and Bath? Surely the big 3 in RU have good relations between them. Wasps and Bath want have him back anyway.

I though Darryl Clark was a marquee of yours?

It's been claimed on here by some that he is, my problem with that is Warrington have always announced a marquee player as 'marquee', Sandow, Roberts & Austin have all been given the tag in the press releases, I would have expected the same for Clark when we renewed his contract. That being the case, until I see a press release from the club that informs us Clark is a registered marquee player, I'm assuming he is not.

Ah fair enough maybe not then. Great to see you getting a player the quality of Austin though think his running game will be great in SL

I don't think there is a requirement to announce any player as a marquee. Clubs discretion.

There absolutely isn't you are correct, it's just that Warrington always seem to have declared it, which makes me question it.

I will just always question it until I see confirmation from the club is all.

He could obviously have requested the club keep that status quiet, but I'm holding on to hope we can bring another in!
