My tip would be Jason Demetriou - has had success everywhere he's been since returning to Oz. Won a couple of comps as Head Coach of St George reserves, assistant coach with Cowboys when they won it, currently working under Bennet at Broncos and by all accounts doing the majority of field coaching. Would come relatively cheap too, which we know plays into GHs hands.
Those saying Hasler, please god no! Look at the state he left Manly and now the Bulldogs with his back ended contracts. Bulldog now favourites for wooden spoon for next 3 years because of cap management that he was responsible for. They're paying out nearly $1m a year to other clubs who've got players they needed to move on. Plus his brand of rugby is the most dreadful, dour type - completion rates is all he's interested in... No, no, no...

The timing seem strange unless Hetherington has already lined up a replacement. If not we could let you have Jamie Peacock ? He's never seen at Craven Park so should have plenty of time to help out.
Stop Pi55ing up my back and telling me it's raining !!!!
Agreed. They should have given him the same chance for a goodbye that Wigan are giving Wane. The timing suggests to me that there is a bit more to this than we're privy to via the media etc.
Wigan had a dip in form after Wane said he was going. I don't think we need a dip in form at the moment. Wait a minute, I think we may already have a dip in form !!!!!

I can't believe that anyone ever questioned GH''s ruthlessness. I'm surprised he wasn't given until the end of the season, and it seems after 8 trophy filled seasons all the bridges that have been built have been well and truly nuked.
Agreed. GH hasn't achieved what he has without that side to him. But i did think he would let BM go gracefully.
I'm not sure who is around who can motivate that rabble in the short term. Certainly not Lowes.

Good to see GH has recognised there is a problem, though not sure the timing is right, but whilst he's at it, he needs to take a look at the current squad, take a long look in the mirror and give himself an almighty uppercut.
Not often I berate GH, but this squad does not cut the mustard, and whilst it might be just about the right time for a coaching change, I hope GH also accepts his role and responsibility for the current predicament.
