I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Hmmmm, definitely talented & offers ball handling skills we lack in the forwards. BUT injured after 3 games, strong rumours on here of further disciplinary issues...… LR will know the facts & will hopefully call it right, can't see the club risking an expensive, lengthy contract on such sparse evidence. Little mention of him in recent media releases...……...
Well pretty clear to everyone watching the game and had to be helped from the field that he was definitely injured. As for the rumours they are just that and its just some sad whack mischief making.
Radford is no fool and wouldn't have taken Westy back if there were any such issues as its taken him long enough to get the culture at the club professional.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

With knee injuries there's often a lot of swelling so it's hard to give an early assessment until it settles down a bit. I doubt he'll be back any time soon

Start of Super 8's now the latest estimate, scans show meniscus damage, whatever that might be.

Cheers, cartilage used to be main knee injury many moons ago, not so common nowadays, it seems.

think we just call it a different name, a bit like "metatarsal", like nobody dies of "old age", always has a more clinical diagnosis now.

The referee's indecision is final
Jamie Buhrer has just got a similar injury for newcastle in the nrl. his torn meniscus is around 7 or 8 weeks to heal fully, but it always takes a while to diagnose, presumable as has been mentioned, due to local swelling
