Today's fixtures : Sun Apr 08, 2018 11:33 am
What do we think the chances of the three top 4 teams losing this afternoon?

Which results would benefit us most? Do we want to hope that London are falling apart or are there other scenarios?

Answer my own question! Seems to suit us that London lost.
Means Halifax are doing too well for comfort though.

For me Toronto are nailed on to finish top, followed by Toulouse, I hope Fev and London both have nightmare secondhalves to the season, will still be hard to get a top 4 spot.

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

I agree re Toronto and Toulouse. I do however think both are beatable by us in the second half of the season and in the 8s if we make it. Toronto do however seem to have taken on our own mindset from a couple of seasons ago when we always aseemed to find a way to win tight games.
London do seem to be struggling suddenly but can come good again, Fev continue to perform well and Fax are still very much in the hunt.
All told we need to go almost unbeaten and need London, Fev and Fax to drop games.
Nervous times ahead but at least we are now in the race.

The next 3 games will help us "gel" even more, May will be a massive month for us, dry pitches will suit our style but we have given ourselves an aweful lot to do.

"Only" Rochdale (no disrespect) but we looked very slick in patches today, and switched off for a lot as well - could have had well over 80 so some very good signs

Leigh will make the top 4. I have no doubt of that. May even finish in top 2. Depends how we do in fixtures against current top 4.

All of which, are away from home. That's quite a challenge, to win at Toronto (if it's played there), Toulouse, (which is not being played there) Featherstone, and London. (plus of course, Toronto on a neutral ground). I hope we can do it and, if we do, then our chances in the 8's would be quite promising.

May will be the month that defines the season. Away to Fev and London, and Toronto in Blackpool. Win all three and we're breathing down the top 4's necks for the rest of the season. If we beat Fev and London, and lost to Toronto then might not be the end of the world. Lose to Fev and / or London and I think it's season over.
