I think BJB is unlucky not to be in. I think he's better than Makinson.

Possible French team to play England Knights:

Morgan Escare (Wigan)

Fouad Yaha (Catalans), Anthony Gigot (Catalans), Bastien Ader (Toulouse), Paul Marcon (Toulouse)

Theodore Fages (St. Helens)
William Barthau (Toulouse)

Jason Baitieri (Catalans)
Benjamin Garcia (Catalans), Benjamin Jullien (Catalans)
Remy Casty (Catalans), Eloi Pelissier (Lezignan), Julien Bousquet (Catalans)

Interchange: Mickael Simon (Catalans), Antoni Maria (Catalans), Thibault Margalet (Catalans), Lucas Albert (Catalans).

Reserves: Stanislas Robin (Toulouse), Alrix da Costa (Catalans), Vincent Duport (Catalans), Bastien Canet (Toulouse), Gavin Marguerite (Toulouse)

Some people may want to argue "how can a team that is mostly Catalans players compete with a Knights team that is drawn from more successful Super League teams?"

Part of the answer is that the team could compete if the French Federation chooses a France national team coach who is better than Steve McNamara. Another part of the answer lies in the selection of the French halves from St. Helens and Toulouse, each of whom are in better form than the first choice halves of the Catalans.

Nothing good would come of playing a reserve team against a first team.

Australia A and New Zealand A would be ideal. Or the Maori or Aboriginals.

That's not a bad call. Maybe not the Australians teams, but a short tour down under were they have games against the city & county origin teams, along with the Maoris and Aboriginals.

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

eden was rubbish at hull kerm rubbish down under then drops lucky and gets on the prolific left edge of cas where even my granny would score 20 tries a season

Mason Caton Brown is better than Eden.

100% agree... Eden is a decent finisher as is every wing man in the top two tiers of RL now, its expected to have these acrobatic skills to be able to score a try in the corner. You only have to look at Denny Solomona the year before to see the reasoning behind Eden having the miraculous first successful stint of his career.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Probably difficult for you to grasp but players can improve / get better with coaching over time. Josh Griffin is a prime example. Absolutely turd a few years ago but actually resembles a rugby player now.

I'm not saying Eden should play for England but he's a far better player now then what he was prior to going to Oz.

MCB  he's a good reserve player.
