Barrow controlled the ball well & looked a very disciplined side. Not sure how many injuries were genuine, there looked to be a good degree of time wasting to disrupt us in the second half & give their big guys a breather.
Hope the points dropped against York and London don't come back to bite us at the end of the season.
Well done for a good fight back against an impressive Barrow side . Barrow played out there sets of 6. They did tire a bit in the last 10 mins & gave away a vital penalty .
England , Green, Dean , Tali , Martin were impressive .
hope the players and fans of Barrow have a safe journey back home, I cant decide if we gained a point or lost a point today, at times I thought that Barrow were a lot better than us,, but we had some good spells where we were the better team. We still seem to have problems retaining the ball on our set of six , we spilled the ball on the first / second tackle too often. good to see we hung on and snatched a draw which I thought was a fair result. we are still lacking an impact player who can make big bursts through the line (like their number Feka needs to return very soon to show our guys how to offload in the tackle and keep the attack flowing. All in all not too bad a result hope we can do the same at whitehaven
Yes , a fair summary & yes Joe Bullock Barrow No 8 was impressive . Did not like the time wasting , but it was a tough physical game . We did miss Feka & Castle.
Didn't mention Jordie Hedges who I thought filled in well at the back & Rawsthorne who did well in his 1st game.
Feka needs to return very soon to show our guys how to offload in the tackle and keep the attack flowing. All in all not too bad a result hope we can do the same at whitehaven
