i'm sad to here this, especially for you the supporters.
as for the people who've been running the club i have nothing but contempt and i hope they fail in everything else they do.
what are they thinking when they over spend to this degree?.

Seems a poop way to end it... thank you very much bobby hope- ruined the club.

if the rumours are to believed regarding the rfl's refusal to let the club reform as a new club and start without any debts, then it is no wonder no-one would come forward with the funds to support the club.

Highlights- the intimacy of the ground, sam reay chatting to hunslet fans whilst he was playing who were calling him fat in 09, that win against worky after the long barren spell, martin crompton, the challenge cup game at Leeds & the south stand going silent after our second try, swinton fans (superb on the whole and always happy even when losing), johnny leather & pete fairhurst, the northern rail 9's win and that weekend of beer & chatting to other fans.

Low points- dave merrick and the most shocking ref performance I have ever seen in that regular season game against Oldham in 2009, the chav hunslet fans, the glory hunter worky fans who travelled down for the play-off game this year, graham holroyd giving the bird to his own fans, woodcock's awful hair cuts/ bleaching.

What are other people's memories?

This is so sad. I do hope you can get some form of supporters group going with a plan of some how getting a team off the ground in the future.
Best of luck from a Donny fan.

So sorry to hear about this and hope something can be salvaged from the mess. Could a team start up in Chorley it was a good ground, curious to know if home fans were morethere than at fylde.

In order to get my fix of rugby I watched a game couple of weeks ago featuring Blackpool Scorpions it was a good game. Might be worth a look for Blackpool fans in the meantime.

Sadly rupert bear only myself and a few others interested in the supporters direct route. I did warn people months ago
about what would happen and urged people to get down and support us but fell on deaf ears. Seems not enough of us want a rugby league team on nthe fylde coast and even if they do they dont want to do anything about it. Its a real shame as we were making progress with a very good coach and some good players. Wish we could do a donny as i had a chat with the supporters trust when we played you at your place and they seem like a great bunch and i hope everything works out for you.
