The 6, 7 and 9 may be new but we looked just as bad last year with a 6, 7 and 9 that had been with us for a number of years. If we couldn't gel with players who've been here for years then what hope have we with a completely new set up?

Is that code for a Cas win?

2 teams lacking confidence. Against Leeds both teams & supporters seemed to think it just a matter of time before Leeds demolished Cas. It wasn't until Cas went 8 up did they show belief & the fans really get behind them. They carried that in to the Wire game but by the end I could barely watch, the quality was that bad. I don't know the stats but I think there were over 20 mistakes & almost as many penalties - that's a stoppage for errors every 2 minutes. Against Bulls I fear if one team gets a couple of tries ahead the other might lack the belief & composure to get back into it. I've not seen Bulls this year so can't comment with confidence but with their team they should have more than enough to stuff Cas.

Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. Who needs flankers' grammar was actually correct.

Cas were very poor against Leeds first half, not bad against a terrible Leeds side second half. They were dreadful aginst Wire, their discipline & ball retention continues to be amateurish (as was Wire's), which typifies their performances under Materson. Their defence continues to be their strong point. A game lost by mistakes is my prediction for Friday.

There is this wet stuff called RAIN which makes it tricky to hold on to the ball! It poured down on saturday night. I think the completion rates were good given the conditions, and the fact that Thaler was blind to Warrington stripping the ball every chance they got.

I have no idea why Bradford don't play Donaldson though, I saw him a couple of times last year in the academy. He is gonna be a great player.

As for Orford. Something will click as the team get to know him better, and when that happens someone may well get a sound beating. I just hope it isn't on Friday and he saves his best for when Bradford play Leeds.

Last year at home v Leeds was the worst rain I have ever witnessed anywhere on earth, there were less errors then. It was awful on Saturday. I remember one that Thaler missed (on Owen I think). Owen should have held onto the ball, end of. In those conditions Cas should have done the same in the tackle.

No, you have quite clearly not seen us then.
I think Cas will win at a canter.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Re: Cas on Friday : Mon Feb 15, 2010 4:35 pm
How come that Bradford fan seems to of seen Cas more this year then his own side? To say we were poor v leeds in the first half is a sham of a comment. Conditions were awful and I've not seen us play on a pitch so dreadful in donkeys. Could be a good game but I don't think you'll stuff us. 22-29, or something along them lines.

Could it be that that Bradford fan is not a Bradford fan? Cas were crap first half v Leeds. Leeds bombed a load of chances that would have taken them out of sight.

Sorry just read the Bulls 4 life thing without reading the whole thing and your name! Leeds bombed chances due to our brilliant (on the night) defence, some might say, me being one of that some.
