Hunwicks has gone to Leeds

Pearce is a very good player still.
He hasn't been himself since he broke up with his girlfriend and cancelled his wedding earlier this year.
He needs to move on from Newcastle.

Its still not done and dusted is it, but looks probable.

If he has the impact of Maloney he will be good, if he has the impact of Willie Mason then not so much !

Pearce is a much more gifted player than Maloney, but Maloney's record shows he produces in big games and in important moments, while Pearce has the exact opposite record. Pearce puts in solid efforts for 80 minutes in game after game, but nearly always falls short in the big, important moments.
