Why is it so quiet on here, the season is upon us. I'm sure it used to be more lively than this.

Will be singing "we can see you sneaking out" from your shiny new stand as you go trooping past again with 10 minutes to play. That's the problem with the new stand, you have to file past the away fans to make an early exit.

Not me personally, because I'm a masochist, but The Rovers fans will in all probability be sneaking out early.

In answer to The Silky Polar Bear's original question, the forum is quiet because there isn't a great deal to get excited about. We face another year of transition, also know as being cackamallababshit on' t paddock.

We have to explain this over and over to those who don't yet know, but Leeds Rugby Ltd own the rights to "Marching On Together" after they bought them in the great Ken Bates "everything must go" firesale of some years ago, now every time LUFC play the song they have to pay Gary Hetherington the royalties - true story.

I'm always impressed by Hull KR fans. They make a lot of noise. Never understood the need to celebrate a try by singing 'We all hate Hull', but each to their own.
