It's surely your parental duty to teach him things like that.

You should also tell them lies that they won't discover until adulthood.

I recently taught my friends daughter that blue berries are actually called swan. She then went to school and told her teacher she'd had swan for pudding at the weekend.

When my friends now wife first came over from Thailand (no it isn't like that) she asked who this "Jesus" bloke we kept referring to was (in a blasphemous way you'll be glad to here) I told her he was just some bloke who owned the corner shop. She believed that for about six months I think.

When we were kids I told my brother he was adopted. We are the only 2 gingers in the whole family,(our parents, their brothers & sisters, & their children). I told him that the chances of having 1 ginger kid were slim but having 2 were none existent, I said that they adopted another ginger so it would seem more convincing. He believed me until he was about seven.

It would have been more convincing if you'd said he owned a shop selling home made sideboards.

Just had a pot of Longley Farm cottage cheese, love that stuff, have since I was a kid, only just didn't wolf a whole pot. Might go back.
