Don't really like the undertones in your last post fleetwood mac- seems to infer that supporters who watch other teams are a 'poorer quality' of fan. I am a Wigan fan who watches the Panthers- have done so for the last 3-4 seasons (can't even remember when I first attended!) and was there when we broke the losing streak. Don't go to every match admittedly but I now live in Wigan so this makes things harder. If people were only allowed to attend games of one particular club, I think the Panthers would lose a significant number of fans. I don't think would be beneficial to the club, do you? As for watching Wigan matches over Panthers matches, I have a season ticket at Wigan and live 15 mins away from the dw, so it makes financial sense. However, I prefer my match day experience at the Woodlands as the action is so close & it's a friendly atmosphere (except when Hunslet turn up ha).

Couldn't give a stuff where a player trained as a youth, it's what they bring to the team on the pitch.

McCully is a solid player, but I don't think will ever be a star- and yes every team needs workhorses- Fairhurst, Boland and Ratcliffe can all be labelled as this aswell.

I think the worst player from the Haven match was Halliwell. Considering this guy has bags of experience and has played at a higher level, he didn't show it. He spent half the match off-side even when the ref was looking for an excuse to award Haven a penalty.

Holland and Walker have both been excellent, but Walker had a shaky home debut for Wigan last night. However, I do think it is unfair on players like Fairhurst and Ratcliffe who have been loyal to the club for some time. I don't know what the solution is though, especially as we have no reserves.

The future looks good at the moment- lets just hope that Hope doesn't run out of cash before we get a chance with the big boys in champ 1. MC is a quality coach who will have a 'bigger' club sniffing around sometime I would think.
