I hear what you're saying but I think there'd be a bigger crowd at Post Office Road and therefor more money for your club in gate reciepts, would you not agree?

I had also heard that Fev pay a rather nice amount of money to us in expenses for going. Not sure if that is true or not but the money I heard talk of in the boozer (Yeah I know :lol: ) wasn't worth turning down.

have we just got the 2 friendly games then?

Not sure that this is a bad thing in that we have all the northern rail cup games before the season starts- we are unlikely to progress and will more than likely face hard opposition from Championship- so perhaps too many friendly matches will take their toll on the squad later in the season.

I think Hunslet have got 4 with 2 against SL opposition- good for the coffers, but could be potentially bad if a few serious knocks are picked up.
