I think the problem is that the club didnt/dont officially organise the supporters bus, its down to the fans to organise and the club gets involved if feels it can.

A lot of the younger supporters only do Facebook and other social media so that's where its discussed.

I do agree tho DM the club should have made this more public as people would have likely gone, especially those who don't dabble in social media.
I echo exactly what DM is saying, the price of £35 is more than reasonable but only putting the call out on facebook seems a poor choice. Can't help thinking had it been put on the website a bus would of been filled. Oh well another communication gaffe luckily I'm going down to Cornwall the week after for 3 days so will get that game.

It is a poor choice just to put out the request on FB, they are then relying on stalwarts like Jemmo to pass it on to this site etc. It was a top offer from Hally to include the entrance fee as well in that thirty five quid but it needed bums on seats (literally) and not just confining to the Facebook clientele.

The Club have to get get their comms sorted out better than this and the Official site is a must for this type of information.
Remember they have "engaged" with a media team to help with that.

Thanks.

It'll be interesting to see how we go at the weekend. Swinton only lost by 2 points at their place last Sunday.

The game was a bit of a scrap , had London not made so many handling errors it would have been over at half time.

Thanks RfE. I was starting to get my hopes up a little bit. Perhaps it's going to be tougher than I imagined...

I never thought it was going to easy though.

Not expecting owt but a loss, the main thing is no injuries.

herein lies part of the club's communication weaknesses. Why did they not mention the bus on their website so more people would know about it and why did they not send an email to everyone in their database to promote it?

Sadly, the Club’s communication is carried out by 2 or 3 supporters on Facebook. I would say welcome to 2016 but things were probably better then than now.

I'll add, but for those people there would be little or no communication, so this is certainly no criticism of them.
I don't think the bus was even have filled, the game being on a Saturday has messed mot people up I think, and the uncertainty over trains. £35 is a bargain though.

I probably should have posted the bus details on here when I saw them on Facebook, apologies (remember it's not the club who runs it, it's a just a couple of supporters volunteering who I am sure would be happy with help promoting and filling it)
Squads for the game.
