Does anyone know if there's a coach going?

There's nothing on the Dons website about it.
No there isn't Mike, Insufficient numbers to make it viable .

Thanks Paul.

Did the club put out a request that I missed?

It might have been handy had the club sent out an email to all season ticket holders to say they were looking at putting a bus on.
All done on Facebook .

Cheers Paul. How many short of a full bus were we? Do you know?

It'll be interesting to see how we go at the weekend. Swinton only lost by 2 points at their place last Sunday.
There would of been 4 here so if it was advertised better and not only on the true fans Facebook page there deffo could of been a coach filled!

The days of cheap coach travel are well and truly over with fuel costs and the London ULEZ charge of £100 for coaches, I'm guess a figure of £1400/1500 for the journey.

I was quoted £500 for a taxi to and from Heathrow so the coach cost of £35 including match ticket was very reasonable ,however not enough people came forward to make it viable which is a shame.
The club have done more than enough to help supporters get to the game , its just a shame a Saturday game is not the best option for lots of people.

I rely on the Dons website to keep me up to date with what's happening. I don't do Facebook or other forms of Social Media.

The £35 cost for transport and a ticket seems very reasonable but herein lies part of the club's communication weaknesses. Why did they not mention the bus on their website so more people would know about it and why did they not send an email to everyone in their database to promote it?

If they'd done that, I'm sure the chances of filling the bus would have increased drastically.
