League Express are reporting that Dave Scott will return to the Dons from Batley Bulldogs for the 2021 season.

Can't say that I saw that coming.

Do we have any news on Watson Boas ?

Is he still in PNG or has he returned to the UK?

Last time I heard, he was still in PNG. With all the stuff going on there was no reason to jump through the hoops to tush him back, particularly with the uncertainty of what was going to happen in future

Does anyone know which player were on two year deals.
I think in the current climate most teams will be offering match terms only from now on ,unless the player is of significant quality.

The fact there will be no reserves next season will also mean more players on the market, so hopefully we can be more selective about our signings.

Keighley seam to be splashing the cash along with Rochdale and Newcastle after looking to try to purchase TWP Super League license.

I would be happy if we were competitive but i would rather we stay within our means than chase the promotion dream spending money we don't have.
I fear some others in our division will try the poop or bust approach to try and get out of League 1 with dire consequences.

As I have posted on the Ben Johnston thread, it's subsequently been suggested on Facebook by one of our former players that Dave Scott has signed elsewhere.

I understand that we have 7 players who's existing deals include next season.

It's all about playing for fun next season according to Carl...

Well, LE were wide of the mark there, with Dave Scott confirming that he will be the player coach at Coventry Bears next season.
