Sunday's demolition job on Oldham sets things up very nicely for this season's second league meeting with former Coach Gary Thornton whose Hunslet team were 20-18 winners at the Keepmoat Stadium in February despite being reduced to 11 men at one point.

The Dons victory over Oldham was probably the nearest to a complete team performance this season, with very few errors and many positives both with and without the ball.

Hunslet are currently second in League One having won two more games than the Dons so an away victory at the South Leeds Stadium would really enhance our play off credentials.

Former Dons Zac Braham, Reece Dean, Mike Emmett, Danny Nicklas, Gareth Potts, Adam Robinson and Charlie Martin all featured for Hunslet in last weekend's 34-0 defeat of Keighley and could be in line to face Richard Horne's men, although the latter was placed on report during the second half.

Last Season: Hunslet 14 Doncaster 30 (Sunday 22 July 2018).
Dons Tries: Connor Scott, Matty Beharrell, Jason Tali, Jack Sanderson 2.
Dons Conversions: Jack Sanderson 4, Matty Beharrell.

That very clever RH converted him.

I'm sure I read that he had a shoulder injury, possibly requiring surgery.

I believe Jack Sanderson is having surgery on 12th June to fix his shoulder injury.

They are gonna try and rough us up again ... so if we can keep our cool and discipline and play rugby via Boas and Beryl then we surely can have some sort of a half decent chance.
It matters ...
