I thought he improved during his time with us. Good luck to him at Dewsbury.

Good player - he'll certainly add something at Hunslet.

Good luck to Keighley. They're certainly trying to press on and leave nothing to chance this season.

I think that's the attitude you need to have: never be satisfied with what you've got, always try to make things better.

Until your in debt over your head and the Inland Revenue come knocking #bucketcollection.
I think they thought they would go up last year with the squad they had assembled and the money they spent, but as we saw in the play offs their bubble well and truly burst.

Fair play to them this season ,they appear to be the League 1 equivalent of Leigh unbeaten and a shoe in for promotion and still signing every quality player that comes available. Hopefully it wont end in tears.

I wish them well and they will in all probability romp this League, it would be no surprise if they go the whole season unbeaten. I appreciate the live for today mentality of signing everyone but their Granny. If it works out ok financially then good for them but I can guarantee that Club Doncaster will never go down that route.

The key to any successful business is sustainable growth. When the boat is pushed out too far the consequences can be dire, as we all know too well.

I suspect Keighley's plan is well thought out and based on a sound financial footing. With them being in the driving seat, they could have sat back and hoped they didn't need to spend a penny more to get promoted. On this basis, I'd guess their finances must be in a decent place.

Their antecedence in matters financially is not great but given the toothless approach of the RFL when is comes to clubs over reaching they might just think to heck with it.

Sadly, the RFLs approach to most things is toothless, Wilf.
