I agree with you, but the issue is, what is Lovoduas position?

Hooker and if he doesn’t want to play there then leave him out.

Let’s stop messing about and show some authority.

He can go for me. With Dwyer due to happen and Houghton with another year, be isn't going to be a 9, and he is ineffective elsewhere

I see what you are saying, but to be fair to him, he hasn't had a good run in any position.

For me I'd like to see

Litten
Barron
Wynne
Mitch
Martin
Smith
Gale
Sao
Lovodua
Taylor/Satae
Lane/Longstaff
Ma'u
Fash

Satae/Taylor
Laidlaw
Longstaff/Lane
Balmforth

But you just know that won't happen and it'll most likely be Houghton starting at 9 and going 80mins yet again along with Johnstone in the 17.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Lowest squad number is 7

Not an easy selection. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot of scope for dropping players.
Outside backs seems to be a choice between 2 academy players or 1 and someone out of position.

I’m just looking forward to seeing how many nines we can get on the pitch at the same time.

Exactly what I’d like to see to at least create some interest.

Otherwise I just can’t be bothered.

I think Ben Mac has played there on occasion so if we push the definition of hooker there is potential for what, 6?
Houghton
Johnstone
Balmforth
Lovodua
Smith
Ben Mac

What positions does he want a good run in?

He’s a hooker.

Showed some decent form at half back but we have specialist players for those positions.

He isn’t a centre or a second rower

Brian Smith was a great Coach and the best that I have seen at Hull in turning around and improving the team. He helped turn average club players like Andy Dannatt and Paul Eastwood into Interationals.

Any good Coach, in any era, should be able to improve the existing squad and then further enhance it with player transfers.
