Yep if we played toulouse or Sheffield for 28 games Connor would be a superstar But we don't.... we are judged against top sides aswell
Who has played well consistently against Saints/Wigan/Catalans/Warrington over the last four years?

Saints defense is awesome. It would take a special performance to break them down and we didn't get one. We challenged for a while but at the end of the day we lack the halfbacks to beat the champions.
Our kicking was poor througout. I don't know what the solution is to that. We need Gale to play at his best but we just haven't see it yet. I wonder what the club is thinking for next year there.

What is disappointing is it was a stupid kick by Connor trying for a 40/20 with 2 minutes to go that started the rot. Then the usual penalty on the first tackle and saints are in our 20 and score a try with 1 minute to go before half time. Its game management and we dont have any
The 40/20 attempt he missed by a whisker?
Think that's an overreaction.

We’ve fallen well behind the top teams on fitness. We always look knackered and fade away in the second half like tonight.

If we are looking at moving Connor then McIntosh at fullback and get Mitch on the wing. Shaul defense not good enough now for full back

Can’t fault the effort but lack of composure cost us.
Saints again showed us how far behind we are.

Thought we had a chance second half, but some of our lads haven’t been good enough in defence(or attack) specially out wide. Griff doesn’t look fit and Wynne and Shaul have been run ragged by Lomax and Hurrell. As for our 6, what can you say,…..our kicking isn’t great either. Losing Fash meant one forward short on interchange and you need them against a team like Saints, who are a super team and did the business on us. Not too despondent about tonight. Losing to Saints away 24-10 is not the end of World.
Griff doesn’t look fit
more like disinterested
Wynne was giving Hurrell a torrid time for a while in the first half but for some reason the team switched the attack to the other wing.
Hurrell should have been targeted more to sap his energy as once his gas has gone he is not the same player.
Dont know who makes these decisions on the field but that was a big mistake

That was just the typical sort of performance I've come to expect from us against a top side, full of effort mixed in with ill discipline, a lack of creativity and a lack of game management. Saints plan seemed to be to rattle Wynne and it worked.
