If we have the opportunity I'd definitely sign Longstaff. He's just got something about him. Take in to account he's playing in a team that is decimated by injuries lacking character and quality but has done a decent job.

He is slight for a forward but he's only just turned twenty and there's time for him to bulk up.

Chances are Warrington will want him back though.

Cant believe there are one or two on here who dont rate him because of his size and as you say just turned 20.
Miles ahead of any young players we have coming through and has whats is missing in our team desire and pace.
I would also take a punt on Josh Simm if Saints dont offer him a contract
Only 21 with S/L experience and an ideal size for a centre at 96 kilos and again has the pace we are missing.

Might not be complete balls actually

Would be a real result if we could get him off the books and replace him with Alvaro.
Would be a big upgrade.

Cheers windy. Any clues on the back row? Club or something

Unless we're getting Angus Crichton or Wade Graham  I'd make a play for Pride Petterson-Robati

What gives you that impression

After watching the half hour programme Connor did with Jon Wells I can see him moving on at the end of his contract.

He's got a desire to win a GF, which with the best will in the world, he won't be doing with us in the near future.

Also pretty much confirms Aussie clubs have been in for him.

With this in mind, I wonder if we'll look to keep Walker.

Just can’t see a scenario where Connor stays.

As stated above, we won’t be challenging anytime soon, unfortunately. Would like to see him in the NRL just to see how he goes.

Succession planning already in place I reckon.

Walker is too injury prone, as long as we have a year to plan to replace Connor then that would be ok.

Can't blame him, been an excellent player and very loyal to us.
