Not overly excited by this one. Average never seen him do much. But if true always prepared to give him my full support. I remember us signing Aspinwall and most people myself included thought it was a crap signing. Proved us wrong.

If Sutcliffe does come in and not just as a short term loan, could possibly mean someone going out?

Not an earth shattering player and likely only be a squad player but will do a job and certainly wont be worse than anything we have at present and in some ways actually a slight improvement.

Called Wakeham months ago  like Gamble too

It is believed Brisbane Broncos half Tyson Gamble and Bulldogs half Brandon Wakeman are also on Hull FC's wish-list.

Mulleted Gamble made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers in 2018 and joined the Broncos in 2020.

The 26-year-old has made six appearances this season and 21 in his career to date.

Wakeman debuted in the NRL in 2019.

The Fijian international has played four times for the Dogs in 2022 and has 22 career appearances to date.

The 23-year-old is off-contract at Canterbury at the end of this season.

Been a good squad player for us for long while. (Sutty). Very expendable to us now as never reached the heights of his early promise. I do think he can do a good job in several positions, but shouldn’t be first choice and won’t cost much so a good signing both ways I think …..

Steady player who can cover most positions on the pitch. Not a world beater but certainly the type of player you need in the squad. Cant imagine his wages will be huge ether. Decent bit of business.

Wonder if Sutcliffe and potentially Longstaff are seen as replacements for Manu.

2 for 1?

Is Sutcliffe permanent?
Be happy with Wakeham too if we could get him. Think him and Trueman would be a great partnership.
