Perhaps now with a coach who has intimidated a clean slate for everyone, Hull fans should unite in the support of our team, let’s hope we progress with Tony in charge, and a much more positive playing style, fitness and character returns to our complete group. We are nowhere near the best, but we are certainly capable of better.

Totally agree Rider. I could just about stomach Takarangi and even Hardaker but if we sign Ben Cockayne I'll be ripping up my pass. :)

Of course they are. They are literally rumours unless you can prove the stories are true.

You would think if they was true (im on the fence with this) they would be grounds for gross misconduct and the contracts could be torn up without cost to the club. Given we are actively trying to free space id be surprised if the club have a chance too they wouldnt.

I'd have Holmes, was good at Cas, move not worked out at Warrington, but you could say that about a few players at Warrington last season.

Apparently was told 2 weeks ago he’s free to find another club.
Agree with you Dave, i always rated him at Cas and would definitely take him here.

He was a decent player at Cas but he's been very poor this season at Wire.

The move just hasn't seemed to work for him.

Was Powell playing him on the opposite side that he did at Cas too?

He's a good wide running backrow. Wouldn't say no.

Guess Currie got first dibs.

Can't think of many other teams as desperate as us for a SR. If he is available I hope we're in the mix.

I'd be a bit underwhelmed but with salary cap constraints he may be the best available.

As you say the move to Wire hasn't worked out for him and signing for another club could help him get back to form.

Interesting times.

Again, I would be very disappointed if we ended up signing Takarangi, didn’t show much on the pitch and proved to be a lose cannon off it.

At the risk of sounding hypocritical, Hardaker is an interesting one. Off field problems well documented, but at least he’s shown on the pitch his quality. I thought he looked good in the GF on Saturday and appears to be a bit of a revitalised character since moving back to Leeds. It would be a risk, but recent form suggest it could be one that could pay off
