"Dream Big..Work Hard".................. Sarah Storey, Paralympic Legend.
For me the answer is easy. Genuine first teamers are never going to feature in reserve grade anyway in my opinion.
Therefore leave the under 18s fixtures as they are and play under 19s/20s fixtures on the alternate weekends. The high performing 18s can step up to play alongside the 18s/19s that were kept on from last season.
Why should, for example, Hull FC suffer because some clubs don't want to run a reserves side? Hull have invested heavily in your excellent rising stars programme. Why should that investment be wasted due to small minded clubs trying to save money?
This is a cash issue, not a Covid one. Certain clubs have been trying to pull out of the reserve league since it was reinstated. If they choose not to run one, penalise them.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
Not much being said about Michael Shenton of late, he still hasn't even got a mug shot on the club website.
Hopefully I'm just making it up.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
The club just announced Pete Riding as the new head of youth and club statement says he’ll work with Shelton who’s made a notable impression.

Club press release Sounds like an excellent piece of recruitment from the club. Glad to see us continuing to invest in the youth development side. Hopefully we'll see it start to pay off in the next 3-5 years.
Wire have lost Anderson and now Riding over the last few weeks from their youth set up.
