Totally agree. Roy Francis was a pioneer not only because of the colour of his skin but also because of his coaching methods which were way ahead of the time. Something the club and Rugby League should be proud of.

I think the statue is in the Land of their Fathers. which to me is most appropriate. All Cardiff born I believe.


But I would also agree a statue in Kingston upon Hull of Sully & Francis would be super. :D

It would be a great endorsement for the inclusive culture of Hull, a city that took these 2 to their hearts and regarded them as our own.
