positive news

Looks as though crowds may be able to start coming back before long. The Cas v Hull fixture is to be one of trial events. Fingers crossed as its certainly something the sport as a whole needs, and the risk factor should be pretty low if procedures and protocols are followed.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Wont happen, the Covid infection rate has tripled in Hull in a week, City can't have fans in on Saturday now.

It's not being played in hull, depends on the rate of increase in covid in Castleford.

I can't see it happening, the World Health Organization warns of "a very serious situation unfolding" in Europe. It comes as cases exceed those seen at the peak of the pandemic in March. Not sounding good if you believe what they're saying.

What do they do if 1000 fans does work ok, keep doubling the number until it doesn't, a bit like roulette?

Indeed, and the thousand fans will be season ticket holders so wont spend any more, the risk far outweighs the reward in my opinion.

Not at Cas, but it doesn't matter wether people are pass holders or not, Covid doesn't care if you are a pass holder.
