All I know is he went for it. As did a couple of Championship coaches who were rejected. Now that AP hasn't got his man he will likely revisit the options!!

Hardly gonna say he is coming live after a match. I didnt think it would be him in the first place, but if it was gonna be him, he isnt going to tell us live on s.ky

I know right?

That would be as ridiculous as sacking your coach live on Sky after a match. Ridiculous.

Not sure anyone’s any wiser by Watsons interview to be honest. I’d be inclined to say he was simply being respectful to Salford.
Think it’ll be a watch this space scenario.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Amazing how many people still can’t grasp that Radford wasn’t sacked live on air

He did come across pretty genuine and when he said the time wasnt right, i read into that as being the time isnt right for him and his family to move to Hull. I still hope it comes off and as you say, he isn't going to announce it live on tv out of respect for Salford. At least we know Pearson is looking in the right places for a head coach.

My gut instinct is Last interim til end of 2021 with Watson coming in 2022, when COVID has gone hopefully.
